Debra & Ralph’s wedding photography at Middle Temple Hall
If you’re looking for an intimate London wedding venue steeped in history, The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple, commonly known simply as Middle Temple Hall, fits the bill. Debra and Ralph’s ceremony took place in the Princes Room, but they had their pre-wedding interview in the Hall itself, a breathtakingly handsome room that’s been frequented by Shakespeare, Queen Elizabeth I, and Charles Dickens, truly an auspicious start to a beautifully intimate wedding day.
Awesome fact: the Temple area in London used to be home to the Knights Of The Templar until they were dissolved in 1312. But Middle Temple Hall itself wasn’t built until the mid-1500s, and that stunning hammerbeam roof you can see in during their pre-wedding interview is said to be the finest in London. It even played host to the very first production of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, in 1602.
After the ceremony we moved outside for a group shot and then back to the main entrance for a confetti greeting, with the reception carrying on both in the front courtyard and Princes Room. A beautiful intimate wedding in a spectacular London venue for a very fun couple – congratulations Debra and Ralph!
