If you’re getting married at Chelsea Old Town Hall, congratulations on a great choice! It’s an iconic building that’s seen thousands of happy couples tie the knot over the decades. Chelsea register office wedding ceremonies are equally suited to intimate elopements with just a couple of witnesses, often in the smaller Rossetti Room, and larger gatherings of family and friends in the beautiful Brydon Room. And for your confetti shot after the ceremony there’s few places more iconic than on the Chelsea Old Town Hall steps! I’ve photographed dozens (and dozens!) of Chelsea weddings over the years, so whatever size of celebration you’re planning, I’d love to be your Chelsea Old Town Hall wedding photographer. Just get in touch below for more info and availability on your date – there’s no obligation to book, I’d really just love to find out more about you both! Website: https://theivychelseagarden.com Directions from Chelsea Old Town Hall The Ivy Chelsea Garden brings the familiar luxury of The Ivy to a relaxed yet sophisticated restaurant in the heart of Chelsea, literally a couple of minutes walk from Chelsea Old Town Hall. They have a long, gold-gilded private dining room perfect for wedding parties for a couple of dozen guests, and a delicious menu of classic dishes. Website: https://www.daphnes-restaurant.co.uk/ Directions from Chelsea Old Town Hall Daphne’s is a charming Italian restaurant 10 to 15 minutes walk from Chelsea Register Office, and their elegant Conservatory can seat around 40 for your post-ceremony lunch. Over the years I’ve found that most couples booking me for wedding photography at Chelsea Old Town Hall are best served by either 90 minutes or three hours of photography, usually with one of my bespoke lay-flat albums included. So I offer a special rate for either 90 minutes or 3 hours. Or for total flexibility you can opt for my hourly pricing (250/hr, minimum two hours). If you’re not sure what’s right for you just get in touch below with a few details and I’ll be happy to help. For small ceremonies without a reception afterwards, 90 minutes is perfect. I start 30 minutes before the ceremony to capture arrivals, greetings, and mingling in the waiting room. Then after the ceremony there’s time for confetti and group shots on the famous Chelsea Old Town Hall steps, and 15-20 minutes for the three of us to wander around Chelsea’s cobbled back streets making wedding portraits together. Ninety minutes of Chelsea Old Town Hall wedding photography is £475, including consultation, photography, editing, six months private gallery hosting, and a full set of digital files to download. Perhaps you’ve got a private dining experience with your guests booked at a nearby restaurant after the ceremony, and you’d like to have some photos of the drinks reception and maybe a couple of speeches. Three hours is the perfect length to book your Chelsea wedding photography, with plenty of time for arrivals, ceremony, portraits, and an hour or so of candid photos at your venue afterwards. My hourly rate for Chelsea Old Town Hall wedding photography is £250/hr with a minimum booking of two hours, including consultation, photography, editing, six months private gallery hosting, and a full set of digital files to download. How will you enjoy your Chelsea Old Town Hall wedding photos in, say, ten, twenty, fifty years from now? I believe the photos we print are the ones we enjoy the most. Even photos stuck to the fridge get more love than the ones stuck on our phones. I approach wedding photography like I’m capturing a story, and stories are told best in books. So I truly believe that even the photos from a small Chelsea register office wedding deserve to be enjoyed in a beautiful custom-made book, a one-of-a-kind physical memento of your day that you’ll cherish forever. The most exquisite book you’ll ever own, nothing compares to holding your very own handcrafted wedding album in your hands and leafing through the pages. All your favourite photos across at least 15 lay-flat spreads of thick fine art paper, bound by hand in linen or leather, with your choice of end-paper colour, and engraved, debossed or foil-laid cover text. This is the legacy piece your photos deserve, destined to become a family heirloom. Available in 10×10″ and 12×12″ for your main album, with a 6×6 version available as a duplicate copy for parents. Main album prices start at £500 when you include it in your collection at booking. A more affordable machine-made album ideal for a Chelsea Old Town Hall elopement, these start with 10 lay-flat spreads of thick art-white paper, bound in leatherette hardback with a laser-etched or printed cover title. The lower price means you can add loads more photos and not break the bank, and still have something physical to remember your day. This option comes in 10×10 only for your main album, with an 8×8 version available as a duplicate copy for parents. Main album prices start at £240 when you include it in your collection at booking. My fees always include a pre-wedding chat on the phone or Zoom, photography, editing, a private gallery to share, a set of digitals for your full personal use, and my travel expenses into London. If you choose to include an album in your collection at booking you’ll receive 20% off the usual album price. If you’d like to have some it’s no problem. With a 90 minute booking there’s time for a few key group shots and a few portraits on the Town Hall steps. With longer bookings we can do more shots at a different location. I truly believe you’ll get so much more enjoyment from your photos when you can hold them in your hands as real printed images – it cements the memories in your mind far better than a digital photo ever will! You can order long-lasting museum-quality prints from your gallery, and custom-designed books of your favourites directly from me, any time. And you’re welcome to make your own prints using your digitals, of course. Bring umbrellas! We can still make lovely group shots on the Chelsea Old Town Hall steps under umbrellas – matching white umbrellas look great! There may be an opportunity to do a couple of group shots and a few couple portraits on the staircase inside but this is really dependant on the venue’s schedule that day – please contact Chelsea Old Town Hall to ask what they’ll allow. Your private online gallery of finished photos is usually ready 3-4 weeks later, depending how busy we are that month. You’ll be able to enjoy it on a computer, tablet or smartphone. All your guests can download web-friendly digitals for free, and the bride and groom will be able to download one full set of high resolution print-ready digital files too. First get in touch with a few details and we’ll have a quick chat by phone or Zoom video call. After that we’ll know if I’m right for you, and I’ll put together a package with everything you want. I’ll send you booking forms and my contract, and request a non-refundable first payment of 50% of the package total. The final balance is due four weeks before the wedding. If you like my work I’d love to hear from you. Tell me a bit about you and your wedding and I’ll get back to you personally as soon as I can, usually within 24 hours (Mon – Fri). Thanks!
