Your album of wedding photos is the finishing touch on your whole wedding experience, tying it all together and keeping it alive in your memories for years to come, and I think they deserve something a bit more special than something cheap from a website.
There’s some incredible companies all over the world making beautiful handmade wedding albums and one of them is right here in the UK, Folio Albums in Yorkshire. I chose their fine art books, with spreads of thick fine art paper that open out flat, wrapped in linen and leather. You can customise it with your choice of title, lettering style, and endpaper colours, and they even do super cute 6×6 mini duplicates at a great discount, perfect as gifts for your parents.
I’ve just had a brand new sample album made from one of my favourite recent weddings, Lauren and Alex at Andaz London. I chose saddle leather and pearled endpapers, both from their standard options (included in the base price of the album), and upgraded the lettering to palladium, it feels really special.
Here’s some snaps of the album from box to unwrapped to enjoy, and if we meet up in person for a consultation you’ll get to see it for yourself in person.
(by the way, the weaving on the table is a unique piece made by an award-winning weaver on her Saori loom – my mum!)
